Jaw surgery, also known as orthognathic surgery, realigns the jaws and teeth to improve the way the teeth meet together and to balance the position of the jaws within the face. Jaw surgery may be needed as a corrective surgery for more moderate to severe jaw problems that cannot be resolved with orthodontics alone. Dr Sinead and Dr Christine work in close relations with their maxillo-facial colleagues (dentists who also studied medicine and then specialised in surgery of the head and neck) to plan and manage your case very carefully and precisely.
