We are pleased to announce that Dr Naomi Rahman (Specialist Oral Surgeon) has joined our team at Navan Orthodontics replacing her long standing Oral Surgeon Dr Dermot Murnane. We are keen to provide a continuation of service for our dental colleagues and so providing your patients with our highest level of care and attention. By way of introduction, Dr Rahman qualified form Trinity College Dublin in 2004 with an honors degree in Dentistry. She was awarded the Entrance Exhibitioner Award in 1999 and a three year Scholarship Award in 2000.She has worked as a House Officer in the Dublin Dental School and Hospital and also in General Dental practice. She was awarded the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry by the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2006. The following year she undertook a three year Doctorate programme in Oral Surgery in the Dublin Dental School and Hospital.
In 2010 she was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in Oral Surgery. In addition she teaches part time in the Oral Surgery Department of the Dublin Dental Hospital.
Surgery is carried out under local anesthetic, with the option of intravenous conscious sedation.
She is fully participating member with all the major health insurers including VHI AVIVA, Laya Health Care, St Paul`s Garda Medical Aid and the ESB Medical fund.
